The green man
Out not late to get to communion then bought some ground organic cinnamon in a refill shop and then went to buy the trousers in M&S! Never done that before but when I got up this morning I suddenly thought that if he asked for trousers he must want to stay alive. I bought the 32 regular chinos which will be way too big for him but may encourage him to eat more! Lydia, his daughter gave birth yesterday to Leo Aslan who apparently roared when he appeared. He weighed 8.2lbs and has a little smile already! She and John are over the moon! A very wanted baby and hopefully Richard will be able to enjoy his new grandson at some time soon!
Had lunch with Sian and Ian and we went across to mount edgecumbe with the dogs! Ian was collecting some pebbles to carve. By the time I got back Mark had painted the front door with primer to protect it! It is wooden not upvc! And he had also rehung my bedroom door which had been scraping on the carpet and now runs freely! He finishes tomorrow and then it’s a case of the plasterers coming in .
This evening was choir practice and margy was away on holiday and will be next week so I had made my own way there and walked back afterwards most of the way so nearly-6,000 steps today! Happy with that!
