The importance of being seven...

I read a book recently by Alexander McCall-Smith called "The Importance of Being Seven". His seven year old hero was Bertie, who got up to all sorts of nonsense and tonight Ben, who is also seven, reminded me of that book.

His mum and I were having a blether over the garden fence, putting the world to rights and Ben decided that my garden was better to run daft in. He skipped about on the stepping stones, imitated the cats, played with the water fountain and generally just did boy stuff! He has such an angelic smile and is just so photogenic that my planned blip of the model boats was binned in favour of this one!
