Long Weekend

Sad story.  I had an appointment in Christchurch this morning so took the van intending to get a head start on the long weekend.  2 km from home and it made some ugly noises and stopped going.

2 hours waiting on the side of state highway 1 for a tow truck and eventual delivery to the mechanics, who can't look at it until next week. Didn't make it to my appointment.  No long weekend away for me.   Ah well, at least I'm not living in it anymore!
