An early visit to the plot. Reinforcements needed on the seed bed. Leek & brassica seedlings nibbled. Blimin' pests! Caught my arm on the old chicken mesh. Think I'd better check my tetanus jab. I have an idea that the last one I had was for life but better safe than sorry.
Took Mum to Plants Galore to buy trays of Summer bedding. The one plant we both knew we wanted was mimulus. Everything but.. Never mind, we bought ageratum, gazania, & mixed begonia.
I removed the unwanted weeds in my wild garden this afternoon. It took 3hrs give or take the odd pause to natter with folk passing by. I now have 7 compost bags jammed with weeds to load up & take to CK. Mum has an empty green bin which is handy.
