Hot hot hot

It's been far too hot for me today. We nipped to the shops first thing to get Henry some shorts and Neil some antihistamines, then Henry and I had a lovely long nap to make up for him waking up 3 times overnight and getting up at 5.30am. After that we went in the garden and played in the paddling pool. Henry's idea of fun is to gather a selection of stones in his bucket then wash them in the paddling pool and fight them against each other - he holds stones up in his arms and roars then bashes them against each other!

After a couple of hours it started to get too hot so we went inside, had tea and read books until bedtime. Early night for me - I hope Henry sleeps better than he did last night.
