BT Tower
I think it's pretty obvious where I ended up today. Quite the London landmark.
I started the day in a very nice hotel in Brussels, did some work first thing, met JM for coffee and catch up, and then did another alumni event at Scotland House, which seemed to generate quite a lot of networking energy.
I caught a train from Brussels Schuman to Brussels Midi, which is a curious experience. It's a direct train, but it takes a loop around the north of Brussels before heading down to Midi via Nord and Centrale. I had a fair bit of time to wait around for the Eurostar, but the journey back to London was smooth, and I filled it listening to podcasts.
We arrived a little late into London, so it was a brisk sprint across to Fitzrovia (which annoyingly my Fitbit did not recognise as "exercise"), where I met my friend on the street, just after taking this photograph, before we went for a pizza in a restaurant which occupies the former BBC Radio 1 recording studios on Great Portland Street. It looks like an interesting building, although we didn't stop to look around.
Both running out of steam, it was an Uber back to SW's house in West London.
