In search of Nighjars

A little mid week adventure today, we went up to Dunwich after work, had dinner at the Ship and then went out on the heath on a guided walk to hear and see the Nightjars. It was rainy and windy so bad weather for them but still managed to hear their amazing churrs and a couple flew right over our heads. Magical experience:-)
