Smiles not Tears

As the month of May comes to an end, I finished my latest book.  An uplifting novel depicting the life of four young immigrant women iving in Boston's North End in the 1900s and how they learn to pull away from tradition.

The title of the book: The Saturday Evening Girls' Club by Jane Healey.  At the start of every chapter, there was a quote and this was my favourite, the one on the last chapter which I finished this morning. Perfect for the last day of May.

My Kindle, on the left, sits just underneath my Quotations' Journal (I have several). The crystal butterfly wall hanging was taken down for the repainting of my walls. I need to hang it again with a new nail.
