Donkeys On The Hunt For Hind Legs

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,

Annoyingly poor lady wasn’t there today and I had to carry my own poo bags. Standards have slipped. On the plus side, if she is a stalker (as claimed by you, O’H dear) at least there will be less to get posted through the letterbox!

I used the new flexibility in my “working” day to pop out to see Mary Doll. She told me that during her procedure (and despite having been given a mild sedative) she had tried to engage the consultant in a chat. After being admonished for being quiet, the consultant pointed out that she was actually concentrating. Victor reckons that if Mary Doll needs this procedure again, the doctors will insist on a general anaesthetic!

You’ll be relieved to know that Mary Doll is doing fine. Despite feeling unwell yesterday morning and having to sit on the bathroom floor when she got out of the shower, she made her afternoon appointment to have her nails done. Phew!

It’s been an odd, achy heart few days but seeing Mary Doll was a welcome distraction as it’s definitely like visiting an alternate reality!
