It felt like I was wide awake for most of the night but must have cat-napped, so a lazy start to the morning (after I'd put the heating on).
It's cold out there with a very stiff northerly breeze and cloudy.
I've been battling with a solitary stock dove that's pacing around the bottom of the bird feeder and I even saw it chase off a magpie. We've also three wood pigeons that keep flapping around the lawn, and I really am getting fed-up with them all.
Shopping delivered and put away, then JJ and I went back to Hatters to purchase the single beds but changed the base and headboard colours to a light grey, which will match in better with the carpet and curtains.
I had to re-pot this nasturtium the other day and it seems happy enough to have opened a flower this morning (in spite of the weather).
