Daisy, Daisy

Three and a half hours of glorious sunshine whilst whipping the allotment into shape. Peas, cucumbers, beans, beetroot, turnips and lettuce were planted.

Sand filters, bean supports and sweet pea wigwams were constructed. Weeds were pulled and watering was carried out. Lastly a few stalls of rhubarb to take home.

I adore daisies and these smiled up at me as I left. They're simple, there's no great photography here, but it makes me smile.

Later, there was sombre chat with a friend who has just lost someone who took their own life. It's the anniversary of another friend's bil who did the same. Tortured souls who left too soon. So sad.
