Nice of them to mention it.

So here I am, alone in New York. I have the key to a Lexington Avenue apartment and the freedom of the city.

I bought a Metro card and just did Manhattan. I rode the subways and the buses, I went to Central Park and walked through Times Square. I went to Grand Central Station and ate a hot pretzel from a side walk food stand.

And what do I find? An advert for home....

My first impression of New York is Glasgow times ten over the London underground.
