First Poppies

Taking sampling equipment back to the office today, it was the first time I'd noticed poppies in the local fields.  Certainly not the large drifts of poppies you sometimes come across, they seem to be fewer and further apart than in the past, unless a land owner has made a special effort to plant them.

I'm aching all over from badminton last night, probably because I haven't played for a few weeks.  It'll probably ease over the next day or two.
