A grand day out

Hubby and I decided to head down to Perth yesterday afternoon with the intention of going to the Scottish Game Fair at Scone Palace near Perth. It was such a miserable day here when we left but by the time we arrived in Perth (a 4 hr drive) it was lovely and warm and sunny.

Today dawned warm with lovely blue skies and we headed to the Game Fair early. During the morning we met up with my sister and her husband and spent a grand few hours watching gun dog demonstrations and a parade of Highland Ponies, which are used for taking deer off the hills, with their Ghillies all dressed up in their traditional tweeds.

We had a lovely day in the sunshine, got a little bit sun burnt and are now back home to a cooler but dry Skye!
