Smokey sleeps on M's shoe

Today is the first day of winter and it brought bucket loads of rain. Some parts of the state got around 70mm. Accordingly it was not a day to go out. Smokey agrees. Even so, there was no need for her to kip on a shoe, but better that than on my knitting. 

I am knitting an ensemble for Margot. She'll be two in a month and big for her age. I thought I would be sailing close to the wind making this outfit for max pattern option 2yo but it's shaping up to be huge. I will blip when finished but I expect the outfit will be put in the moth proof chest until next year, or even the year after.

So two reasons for silliness. In memory of Admirer.
