Strawberry Fields.

Great day to add with yesterday.
Blisteringly hot British Summers day again!
We went strawberry picking in Rollesby, Norfolk. The sun shone, the strawberries were in abundance and they were ripe and plump.
Obviously they had to be checked for quality whilst picking and I can assure you they were suitable but I had to check an awful lot of them, it's a dirty job and all that.

The day just continued on a good note with Mr Murray winning too! Having watched Wimbledon since the days of Borg, Connors and Ash it was a day I had long wanted to see!

Tea was on time in fact perfectly timed to fit around the climax of the tennis. Served al fresco for the first time this year! Chicken Piri Piri, corn on the cob and Mediterranean potatoes followed by Strawberries, meringues and cream. Summer really arrived this weekend!

Seemed apt to blip strawberries as they are the epitome of so much that is the British Summer.
