D-day PostBox topper

A dry day! (ooh another D day!)  shocker!! Think the sun might even be trying to appear! hope I don't scare it away!

And a nice morning as we took a wander to the local church who were having an Open Day which included tea and cakes so rude not to partake! There was also a lovely plant stall - bought some nemesia - and a bottle tombola where we won a bottle of wine and bottle of pop! I've also entered the big raffle so will wait to hear if I've won anything from that later!

And nice to see a lovely new postbox topper nearby ahead of the 80th anniversary of D-day this week.

Hoping to spend some time in the garden this afternoon - hoping to just sit and rest but gardening folk will understand that never happens as there'll be things I notice that need doing!
