big birds visits

Today we had lots of visits from the magpies and jackdaws and they joined the chubby wood pigeons. Lots of noise and flapping from all of them. We bought a big bag of birdseed from the Post Office and all the birds love it.
We went to Leicester’s Riverside Festival today - it was disappointing. Free entry but they forgot to open the gates at the front so people stood queuing and annoyed. Hardly any stalls and no live music on the big stage. The street food people hadn’t even opened their stalls. You’d have thought they’d have been ready for customers considering it didn’t open until noon. Shame as it’s been really good in previous years.
