Down by the pond

It's lovely to be home.  The flight home gave us no problems and our pickup car had us home from Heathrow by 8.00pm.  
We enjoyed our tour but most important for me was spending time with friends especially Manuel and Andreea. 

In the past we have always gone away with mixed age groups, which we prefer.  Our 30 travelling companions this time were all in their 70s and older.  Our age?..yes ok but most were much older in outlook and appearance. So we all said our goodbyes happily and returned home!

Our garden looks lovely.  Roses and irises in bloom.  More floral blips in the coming days.  But I've chosen as the main pic the view through the reeds with just a few yellow water irises peeking through.
