A year later

I mark the first anniversary of events by the day and not the date itself.  

It was a Saturday that I got the phone call at 4 a.m, so today was a re-live.  

Death is definitive and life changing, life on the whole is unpredictable and a bit chaotic.  Ju's car got impounded by the police in Girona which made him late for lunch.  I found myself back in my marital home , making lunch and having a shower (no hot water hereabaouts).  Shaky Jackie asked me to have a coffee with her.  I stalled because of lunch.  Ju, with a pocket 150 euros lighter got caught in traffic around Perpignan. and asked if we could make lunch at 3.  I joined SJ for a coffee, but she was so lonely I brought her back to Lizzi'es for lunch with us. 

We lit a candle for Bob.  Nico found Gab's old trumpet.  Ju told a long story.
