Early morning, Lerwick

Well we’re finally here! Like Rum, this trip has been long in the planning.

A remarkably smooth ferry from Aberdeen deposited us in a quiet Lerwick to park the car and catch the passenger ferry to Bressay across the Sound. Then the three of us ran the most northerly Parkrun in the UK along with 66 others, most of whom seemed to be like-minded tourists.

Back to Lerwick and we walked to lunch at Fjara overlooking the Sound. For afters we split up - me heading to the enormous 40th annual Classic Car show (inspiring), whilst Mrs AB visited Jamiesons for some wool.
