Fledglings

They’re everywhere, they’re everywhere!! • Our trees are thick with starling fledglings. The continuous squawking is getting to me, LoL!! While watering plants I actually showered the lilacs a couple of times to bring about a few moments of peace and quiet. Our neighbors across the street must be going nutty too • It’s my fault they’re here. Fledglings of all kinds like suet because it’s easy food while they learn to forage for themselves • I sat near the cherry tree for a while and witnessed this fledgling chickadee attempting to get his parent’s attention. He was working it hard. Feed Me! Feed Me! • It didn’t work • The parent lingered momentarily then flew off looking a bit bedraggled. Parents need peace and quiet too :) • Happy June First, and Happy Weekend!
