Grasshopper Warbler #59
We had a wonderful morning at Gronant Dunes Nature Reserve. The sun was shining, the warblers were out in force and the little terns were in good numbers, which was good as this was what we had come to see.
With no wind at all, they were incredibly fast and I had great difficulty getting shots I was happy with. I have put one with a sand eel in extras just as a reminder of the day.
What we didn't expect to see was this wonderful grasshopper warbler reeling away on the top of a branch. I've only ever seen one twice before, so of course it had to be my blip.
