Westing

A right busy day of it.

Up and awake before six for no real reason so I got togged up and went out at seven on the bike for a bit - nowt daft, local stuff.

Then packed up the car for our weekend away, back to the great holiday cottage on Bute where I was just a mere three weeks ago on a work thing. But first there was a stop in Glasgow to drop off a bunch of stuff at my eldest girl's new flat, and then a collection of stuff from her old flat....and by the time all this was done and dusted we eventually made the three o'clock ferry from Wemyss Bay. Last ones on, in the last space on the car deck, never seen it so busy.

After all that it was the least we could do to simply laze around in the garden in the sunshine, have a couple of alcoholic refreshments along with a barbecue, and finish things off with an evening stroll down the coast for a while. No seals spotted tonight, but plenty of oystercatchers and a couple of herons too.
