Blooming Brilliant
Well that was some day.
I had been advised to get to the show gardens early.... we got one of the first shuttle buses to the entrance and arrived at 8:22am. We were first in the queue and had only 38 minutes to wait until the gates opened! The amateurs that we were we didn't even have a picnic packed, like some of the other early birds. Anyway, it all worked out in the end and the show gardens were indeed worth seeing early. It seems to have gone from zero to thronged in a very short time.
I loved all the gardening and plants and all that, but the showcasing of Irish food was outstanding. Mind you, I had a Pakistani Chicken breakfast at 10am, from Kinara, a total taste bomb!
We hung on until about 2pm by which point it was mayhem.
I din't get the memo about wearing flowery clothes, I would have tried harder :))
A rest
A walk in the park
Tasty Italian dinner at A Fianca, outside on a wram evening.
Lucky Us.
