Bed felt as good as I'd imagined as we drove home last night (this morning). The M25 was closed, so the journey from Dover took longer than anticipated. I slept most of the way, we walked through the door at 3am - 4am French time, the journey back took 20 hours!  The husband snapped the boys who were fast asleep on the back seat.

I had booked an eye appointment this morning, so was up and out at 8.30. Amazingly, I bumped into Granny in the opticians just as I was coming out of the eye test. We did a couple of her town jobs and went back for coffee and cake - which inwas very grateful for!

We're unpacked, the washing mountain is ever-so slightly smaller than it was this morning. Boys, despite the tears about leaving eurocamp were happy to be in their own beds and even happier to be reunited with their toys. Cat is happy to see us, fish tank suffered only one depletion, dog collected tomorrow. We're almost back to normal.
