Large pollen knickerbockers..!

Well the forecast was correct today, wet & windy, so I spent most of the day ensconced in Freida with my kindle..

There was a better interlude during the afternoon & I went for a quick walk,

Having spotted some rather magnificent thistles, which I thought I could blip, I got extra lucky with this enterprising bee ~ it was tricky to capture both unblurred, in the wind though..!!
