Am seeing lots of these Dog Rose flowers whilst walking Misty and am so lucky to have a few in the garden.  The one I've blipped is the most colourful one, the others are a very pale pink.  Can't believe I'm saying this but it was too hot for me to do any gardening in the daytime, so waiting until late afternoon when it was a bit cooler and some of the garden was in shade.  So I cut most of the grass until the battery went flat.  Took Misty down to the estuary this afternoon and she enjoyed a paddle, so did I.
