Poppy

A nice day although not as warm as yesterday.  Communion at church was  led by Gordon, our minister of old, back for a visit, it was great to see him.  And a very thought provoking sermon about the difficulties faced by Christians nowadays in this secular society. 

On the way home I spotted a group of poppies in a neighbour's garden and thought this one was worthy of a blip.  I do love them.

Busy in the house in the afternoon.  Cali is bringing the main course of dinner, a recipe from her new book which sounds really lovely...... I can't wait!

And a surprise visit from Bob's sister in the afternoon who stayed for coffee and chat.
