Race for life

It was a beautiful day for the Cancer Research Funds ‘Race for Life’, which I undertook with a number of Portobello shop colleagues.

We had a great time completing the 5k course round Holyrood Park, with the usual spectacular views over the city.

We were pleased as punch to complete the course and get our medals at the end.

It was quite an atmosphere, with people running in memory of loved ones, but also commemorating the advances over the years that have been made in fighting various cancers. It was great to see so many cancer survivors too.
