Otter watch

While moving some sheep back into the croft we disturbed an otter in the big ditch! We’ve seen otter slides in the past but never spotted them. It quickly dived for cover and hid amongst the vegetation. They often come into these fresh water streams to clean the salt from their fur and find shelter. Hopefully it wasn’t eyeing up our chickens for supper!

We’ve now set up the wildlife camera nearby to see if we can get a better look.
