Gertrude Jekyll

A beautiful rose, and the ones in my garden started to flower while I was away, but have appeared this week with more to come.

Went to one one of our local stores this morning for bird food, but also picked up a couple of Pelargoniums, bedding Geraniums to you and me to replace a couple that I had lost in the trough at the front of the bungalow. They will no doubt feature in a future blip. 

Carried on after lunch in the garden, and am now half way down the main flower bed. Decided that the soil needs some tlc as it is like contrete breaking up the soil!! Something for another day :-)
