Colorful Beauties

These adorable, colorful women ran today in the Color Run. It is a 5K race to raise money foe Barbara Bush Children's cancer center at Maine Medical Hospital. It was a hot day and this was the largest crowd to ever run.
We happened to stop for coffee and a bagel when these women came in and when I asked about what they had done to look like they did, they were eager to share with me the days event.
When I first saw them, it brought to mind the Hindu, Holi Festival, where people are smeared and bombed with bright colors. These ladies ran through areas where colors (blended with cornstarch) were sprayed on them. They said it was the most fun they ever had. Thank you for what you did today to help our children.
