Nest Building

We have had a lovely lazy day.
Up quite late for us had breakfast then sat in the sun, what a pleasure after the weather we have been having.
There are a pair of Wood Pigeons nesting in the hedge next to the caravan. They were collecting sticks from the other side of the field and flying back. I had some time trying to get them in flight but didn’t get a sharp one but I did get this one taking off.
We did a little circular walk up to the pub for a very good carvery lunch and on the way back had a look around an open artist studio.
This afternoon again sitting out and reading.
It looks as if this could be the best day of the week but still we have had that cool north wind .
