Chillington Horse Trials

A thoroughly enjoyable day, walking around the Chillington Estate as the horse trials took place.  I took over 1,000 images, mainly because I went a bit mad with the continuous shutter at 20 frames per second.  I'm still marvelling at the accuracy of the auto focus with subject detection, I hardly missed critical focus all day.

The water obstacle is always worth a visit and because it's not an event with large crowds you can get into some great positions.  I'd realised this was probably going to be my choice as a blip as soon as I took it, despite it being in the first batch of the day.  The way the horse leapt from the water was so dynamic.
