Eighteen
Bailey granted me a bit of a lie-in on the last day of half-term and we walked the block before half nine and in some sunshine with new sunnies required. Home to do a couple of little bits of work but nothing too major so there was time to finish this book in the sunshine before lunch. Just 176 pages and only delivered this week. It's the second in a series of elements and as enjoyable as the first. I was prompted to look for it having listened to John Boyne on Desert Island Discs this week.
The ironing pile was also tackled and the little bed made up, the kitchen floor mopped and the hoovering done. Decks sort of cleared ready for Term 6. Not sure I will feel that ready when the alarm goes off tomorrow though.
And it's also the first anniversary of a very lovely day - which doesn't feel like a year ago.
