The sun goes down on me
Hot hot hot yesterday, I cooked in the office and then went for a few beers in St Andrews Square garden wit a couple of friends. Then met up with SJ Who's just finished work for six weeks. The holidays are the only bit of a teachers life that I envy. They do deserve them, I just wish I could get the same sort of holidays without having to deal with hordes of teenagers...
I also continued my technology black patch, having just got a new SIM contract I found that the phone I was going to use for it didn't work. Even though the phone (bought in Tesco's) uses the same network as my new SIM (O2) they wont work unless the phone is unlocked.
So, I phone Tesco t ask for them to do this...
"No problem sir it will take up to 28 days"
"cool"
"We'll need the phone number from you"
"erm, the SIM that came with it is long dead, I've not used the phone in almost a year"
"I'm sorry sir, but without the phone number we can't unlock the phone. Bye"
"..."
So, in order to unlock the Tesco phone I need to request a new Tesco PAYG sim, activate it, phone Tesco Mobile customer services, and ask them to unlock the phone...
*sigh*
This shot however was sunset on the deliciously breezy shore. That made all the other woes wash away.
