Road Trip!

Today we took an impromptu trip to the beach. The girls had been wishing to go to a beach for a couple of days, so after consulting the map, off we went to the shores of Lake Huron. One of the beautiful things about being in Michigan is that you're really never more than two hours away from one of the Great Lakes. We spent most of the day at Lakeport State Park and then headed north to the town of Lexington. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable, good old fashioned family fun day!
