Sitting in the garden

In the sunshine. And doing lots of gardening, keeping busy.  And listening to an audiobook I’m really loving. ‘You are here’ David Nicholls (I’ve not read any of his previous books though I know they’re bestsellers). 
Thanks to everyone who wrote very support comments yesterday - people here are SO kind - despite us not really knowing each other.  Quite a few calls with son, and a very long call with his dad, which was helpful.  Fortunately we are in complete agreement. 
Today was mainly deadheading, and carefully tying in the new fronds of climbers into the new trellis fence.  Mainly clematis and black eyed Susans.  I am going to clear some of the overgrown ‘weeds’ soon.
