The Difference The Sun Makes…..

…….. After yesterday’s cloudy morning. As it happened, it was cloudy when Maisie and I left home in the dark early this morning. The cloud persisted until near the end of our walk. Then the sun shone through a narrow opening in the eastern cloud and turned the trees to magical shades of deep gold. Here Maisie is checking out the edges of the ponded area of the Taylor River.
The sky stayed cloudy for most of the day and it was cold. A day for extra layers of clothing and fires in log burners.
