Weigela

We had a large bush when I was growing up in Rothesay. It was in between two flowering currant bushed and separated the washing green from the front garden. In my garden here I have planted a few flowering currant bushes and when I saw this in the nursery I had to have it.  I have kept it in a pot so I can take it with me. The currant bushes seem to grow easily from cuttings. 
Today was the end of term for the Artful Dodgers. We had lunch at Unwined in Strathpeffer which was very nice. I wonder if I will still be here when they start in September.
