I stopped at the Community Garden just off the High Street on my way back home from the shops this morning.  The gardeners were busy in the garden and one of them told me that the garden used to be the cattle yard at the rear of the Peebles Abbatoir.  The very ancient buildings are still there.  My blip is of the entrance showing the Peebles coat of arms - three salmon - one facing forwards and two backwards
