When I was putting some washing out in the shed yesterday I glanced up and caught what appeared to be a bluetit flittering into the wee hole at the back of the light fixture on the lamppostby the gate, confirmed with several subsequent sightings. Still there this morning, it appears to have not been fried overnight (unless it's another one trying the same thing today) and they'll hopefully be a little quieter six metres up in the air compared to the pair that nested in the bush right outside our window last year.
