The Boat Sheds of Lindisfarne
Today I made the longest day trip of of my stay in Northumberland. I've been watching the crossing times on the causeway and decided I'd leave it until today to have a quieter visit but the causeway wasn't dry until nearly 4pm.
The day started off more overcast, a little colder with a strong breeze. The sky soon cleared and it turned into a lovely afternoon. On Lindisfarne the breeze seemed a little lighter and skylarks were singing their hearts out overhead. I visited the harbour for the boat sheds (they're old herring boats that have now been repurposed) and took a few shots so that's my blip. I've added an extra of the castle across the harbour.
