Coniston

We are staying in the Lake District for a few days. This morning we visited Brantwood (see extra) which is the former home of the writer and philosopher John Ruskin.
This is the view across Coniston Water from Brantwood, looking towards the village of Coniston. Somewhere in the mist above the village is Coniston Old Man at just over 800 metres..
