My topsy-turvy life

By Rathmandu

Be prepared

Last night was a relatively successful test of the new tent and Owen was certainly making the most of camp life by roasting marshmallows* for luxury smores*. Louisa and me opted for sausage sandwiches (cooked inside to avoid washing the pans), as well as marshmallows.

After breakfast and before other family arrived later on we paid a visit to Attingham and the Field of Play, where Owen managed to sing himself on some nettles. He and Louisa found some dock leaves to soothe the tingling and after a bit of tlc he was soon running around again.

Back to the farm to pack up the tent before Owen set about playing the dutiful older cousin*, introducing Baby M to some of his old toys and showing him how they work.
