South Stack Lighthouse
Monday 3rd June 2024
By 9.45am the car was packed and we were off to Aberystwyth. We diverted by the RSPB centre at South Stack Lighthouse on Anglesey, not exactly en route but we wanted to photograph the birds. We did walk all the way down to the bridge over to the lighthouse, which enabled us to see all the guillemots on the cliffs, no puffins unfortunately.
We are staying in a village 3 miles south of Aberystwyth, the house is lovely. As we arrived there were two red kites circling right above the garden and calling to each other. We enjoyed a G&T sitting outside watching them - see extra.
