Crossing John's Creek

What a beautiful day to go out walking, with not a cloud in the sky.  14 of us started our walk at John's Creek, and then headed towards Hawea.  We came to a stand still when we encountered another creek that we couldn't cross.  So we headed back towards the cars, stopping for lunch in a lovely sheltered bay.  

Unfortunately today is the day that my lovely Cannon G11 died.  It has now gone to a camera hospital for an overhaul.  So I have dusted off my Cannon SLR, it will take some getting used to, as I haven't used it for over a year.

Snow forecast for tomorrow - we'll see!!
