Hard going

Today was hubby’s first day on his new working pattern. Monday and Tuesday are now our official weekend, we both work Wednesday to Friday and share the workload at the shop on Saturday and Sunday. Today he spent three and a half hours cleaning the car. I’m used to a faster pace than this when I’m doing housework. It’s going to take some time getting used to him being at home for two days.
These guys were on the towpath opposite the house. The backpacks looked heavy and it was hard going especially for the guy at the back with his hand up. He needed a break and was trying to get the attention of another group in front.
