Afternoon at the pool

The theme for Mono Monday this week is “something sporty”, so since we were swimming this afternoon at the “Y” outdoor pool, I thought that would fit the bill.
We were both rather late getting going this morning, and after breakfast and doing my Duolingo Spanish, I went to buy some plants for the patio containers, which brought back memories from last year, since the day I bought them last year, was the day R suffered from his torn retina, and the ensuing procedures and ultimately surgery that precipitated!
It was a nice sunny day, so we thought an outdoor swim would feel good, and provide me with a blip at the same time!
